梅蘭芳（1894年10月22日－1961年8月8日），名瀾，又名鶴鳴，乳名裙姊，字畹華，別署綴玉軒主人，藝名蘭芳，清光緒二十年（1894年）出生於北京，祖籍江蘇泰州。中國京劇表演藝術大師。

梅蘭芳8歲學戲，9歲拜吳菱仙為師學青衣，10歲登台。後又求教於秦稚芬和胡二庚學花旦。1915年4月至1916年9月，新排演了《宦海潮》、《牢獄鴛鴦》、《思凡》等11出戲。

於1949年前先後赴日本、美國、蘇聯演出，並榮獲美國波莫納學院和南加州大學的榮譽文學博士學位。1950年任中國京劇院院長、1951年，任中國戲曲研究院院長，1953年，任中國戲劇家協會副主席，1959年，加入中國共產黨，1961年8月8日，梅蘭芳因病在北京病逝。享年67歲。
