现在社会，随着生活脚步的加快，人们是越来越忙碌了。拼命的工作，忽视了和家人的交流，从而出现了很多家庭矛盾。夫妻离婚，父子反目。而且，还有一个更严峻的事实，就是国家实行计划生育以来。独生子女是很多的。当2个独生子女组成家庭时。他们要赡养4个老人，这对任何人来说，都是一个很大的负担。不只是经济上的负担。这把老人送到老人院，一般都是这样的情况：家里只有一个老人了，但是身体不好，没有自理能力了，而且夫妻2个都有工作。不能时刻守在老人身边的。这样的情况。把老人送到养老院对自己对老人都是一种好事。但是，由于统治了中国5000年的封建思想。很多人都对这样的举动持反对态度。认为这样是不孝顺的。这就是我刚才前面提到的，什么叫孝顺。所以把老人送到养老院，并不是不孝顺。但是送去以后，只交钱，什么都不管。这个行为，就要受到大家的谴责了。把老人送到养老院，其实和请人照顾老人的物质生活是一样的。但是老人的精神生活，还是要靠当子女的来照顾。再忙，每天都要抽出时间来去陪陪父母，哪怕是1分钟也好。做些自己力所能及的事情，给老人梳梳头，擦擦脸。父母会很欣慰的。这样的子女，你能说他不孝顺吗？有一位名人说过，老人和小孩是一样的。我们的孩子，小时候把他送到托儿所，幼儿园。你能说，我们不爱自己的孩子。对孩子不好吗？同样的道理。

Sunday we went to visit the Old People's Home. We set out early in the morning and brought them lots of warmness. We gave them many books and lots of fruits. We were very happy and so were the old. When we had to say goodbye to them, they really didn't want us to go. They thanked us a lot and we really moved by them.
