The old people at the home were excited by our visit.They are very talkstive and they told us their personal stories.During our stay,the home was fuul of sound of laughter.We sang songs , swept the floor,cleaned the room,did the dishes and had tea with old people together.
In the end of the day,we felt tired but happy,we took the subway back to school.On the way to school,I start to undrestand we should care for our grandparents.They need us to keep company them

Since summer I have volunteered at an old folk』 home because I saw how lonely some of the residents were. I volunteered two days a week ring the summer, which I have continued. I have learned many things about nursing homes.
During my volunteer time at the old folks』 home, I have taken old folks for walk and read them letters from their children. We also have birthday parties and exercise days.
I have had many good experiences volunteering at the old folks home. My volunteer experience has shown me that I can bring joy to older people. Everyone will have to face having parents and grandparents growing older and becoming dependent on their children. Dealing with this situation has made me a stronger and more caring person.

Today, we all kick out of the campus with students, carrying a small gifts gifts ready to nursing homes to visit "grandpa" and "grandma"!!!

We went through a long corridor, then see all around the walls, also planted many trees and flowers, there are several rockery and a pavilion. On the third floor, we see a lot of the old man is sitting quietly. The arrival of our nervous and joy of surprise grandparents a kindly smile on his face. Suddenly, students become active immediately calmly, fills some help grandpa back, some help grandma rubbing his feet, and help elders action not convenient cart and so on...... . The students are very excited! Even some students also specially to visit in the room is not convenient to grandparents, and send you my heartfelt blessing and the gift of love! Time is always short, we want to say goodbye and grandparents, we reluctantly left the nursing homes, some grandparents also seems to us, send us to the door, eyes full of happy and grateful tears from time to time, and revealed a smile.
Although, these old people living in nursing homes, seems alright, environment also sounds good, but, every day every night at miss their own family, very sad, no family care, very poor! Now, in my eyes, like a lonely old people, weak and innocent birds, they need help, care and love, and considerate. But, just so that it is not enough, we need more people, do more, for all the old people of the world, to create a more beautiful home, and I will let them know, there are not relatives, but better than loved ones still care about them, love them, help them, considerate them!!

There have been many wretched, without family, homeless, the elderly, but they are still free, and happy to live with, because they are society's help, gathered together, has become a family. 故事講完後，我們把准備好的點心和水果送到每一位老人手裡，老人們都十分感動。之後，我們大家就開始幫老爺爺老奶奶們大掃除了，大家都有各自的活，有的掃地，有的陪老人們聊天，問寒問暖，還有的擦玻璃。每個同學都幹得熱火朝天，忙得不可開交，把敬老院上上下下打掃得乾乾凈，一塵不染。雖然早已是滿頭大汗，但是沒有一個同學叫苦、叫累、叫臟。在回來的路上，我知道了很多。社會上有很多孤苦伶仃、沒有親人、無家可歸的老人，但是他們還是自由自在、幸福快樂地生活著，因為他們受到了社會的幫助，聚到了一起，也變成了一家人。我非常感謝那些幫助和自己非親非故的老人的人們，讓這些無助的老人們感到社會的溫暖。
